Goal Seek Plus ("the add-on") is a Google Sheets™ add-on published by lnz ("we"). This policy explains what data the add-on accesses and what it does with it.
Summary
The add-on runs entirely inside Google's Apps Script environment. We do not operate any servers for it, and we do not collect, receive, store, sell or share your data.
Permissions the add-on requests
- See, edit, create, and delete only the specific Google Sheets spreadsheet this application is used in
(
spreadsheets.currentonly). The add-on uses this to read the cells you select, write trial values into the input cell you choose while solving, and write the final (or original) value back. It cannot access your other spreadsheets or files. - Display and run third-party web content in prompts and sidebars inside Google applications
(
script.container.ui). The add-on uses this to show its sidebar.
Data stored
To pre-fill the sidebar and offer "Restore original value", the add-on saves the last cell references you used, the target value, and the input cell's previous value in the spreadsheet's own document properties. This information stays inside that spreadsheet in your Google account, is visible only to the add-on in that spreadsheet, and is not sent to us or anyone else.
Data we collect
None. The add-on has no analytics, tracking, advertising or external network requests. If you email us for support, we use your email and anything you send only to answer you.
Google API Services User Data Policy
The add-on's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date.
